Bambies

The group is made up of five female Quincy who each hold Sternritter rank and wear the order's white uniform: Bambietta Basterbine, Liltotto Lamperd, Meninas McAllon, Candice Catnipp, and Giselle Gewelle. Within the circle they address one another by pet names, going by Bambi, Lil, Meni, Candi, and Gigi. The label itself never actually surfaces in the manga or anime; Tite Kubo pinned the name 'Bambies' onto the quintet only after the series had wrapped up serialization.

The five are rarely seen apart, a sign of how tightly knit they are, yet their closeness is famously abrasive. They needle, tease, and occasionally turn on each other, and Liltotto admits they seldom agree on anything, which is why their unanimous vote to kill Ichigo genuinely startled her. The friction runs deep enough that Giselle murdered and reanimated a wounded Bambietta while the rest watched without protest. Even so, real loyalty flickers through in emergencies, whether Giselle regrowing Candice's severed arm or Meninas hauling her to safety after a defeat.

Every member carries a Schrift granted by Yhwach: Bambietta's The Explode, Liltotto's The Glutton, Meninas's The Power, Candice's The Thunderbolt, and Giselle's The Zombie, and all can escalate into the Quincy: Vollstandig state. Their spiritual strength rivals or tops a Gotei 13 captain, enough to butcher Eleventh Division soldiers and nearly finish a battle-worn Kenpachi Zaraki. Against sturdier foes their limits show: Ichigo shrugged off their combined assault even in Vollstandig, and Yhwach swatted them aside when they came seeking revenge. Their coordination is notoriously sloppy, sometimes striking one another by accident, yet they proved deadly enough to slaughter the Soldat guarding the Quincy king on their final push.
