Keisuke Sorimachi

Sorimachi keeps his brown, shoulder-length hair pinned back with a fastener. He holds his mouth in a permanent scowl and lowers his brows to sell the hard-edged image he works to project.

Sorimachi styles himself as a tough and shadows Reiichi as his enforcer and confidant. Beneath the swagger, though, runs a streak of caution and worry, since he warned Reiichi against picking the fight and hurries to help the instant it turns sour.

Sorimachi is at Reiichi's side when the gang moves against Ichigo Kurosaki and Yasutora Sado. During the rooftop confrontation at lunch, Sado flings Reiichi across the roof, and a fretting Sorimachi rushes over, grumbling that this is exactly what he had cautioned against. He turns up again beside Reiichi in the audience of Don Kanonji's broadcast when Ichigo storms the filming. Although he stays off-screen in the anime until Episode 227, teacher Misato Ochi name-drops him earlier, and he has an older sister, Wakako, who is twenty-four when he enrolls at Karakura High.
