Licht Regen

Uryū Ishida, for much of the story the last of the pure Quincy line, relies on this move as one of his heaviest ranged options. Its name translates from German and Dutch as light rain, an idea echoed by the Japanese reading of rain of light.

Before firing, Uryū draws an enormous amount of Reishi out of the space around him, packing it along his left arm and out past his shoulder. He then releases the stockpiled energy as a torrent of countless Heilig Pfeil, all raining down on one chosen mark. After he later threw in with the Wandenreich, the visible buildup along his shoulder was no longer required, letting him loose the barrage almost instantly.

Uryū Ishida is the technique's user. A related form called Licht Wind sends the same assault at a target horizontally along the ground rather than dropping it from overhead.
