Chapter 349 marks the darkest turn of the duel. Uryu's efforts break against Ulquiorra, Orihime's healing cannot revive Ichigo, and her final, desperate cry for help stirs something inhuman as his hair begins to lengthen.
Orihime looks on in horror as Ichigo's pierced body slips down the pillar, and she snatches him from the air with her Santen Kesshun. Ulquiorra warns that her powers cannot restore the dead. Uryu opens fire from behind, but the Espada bats the arrows away with a wing, then turns to face him, buying Orihime the chance to reach Ichigo. Even Uryu's Licht Regen leaves Ulquiorra unharmed, and when the Espada remarks on the Quincy's composure, Uryu answers that his calm is exactly what lets him keep fighting.
Orihime calls up her Soten Kisshun and begins to heal Ichigo, but his blank, lifeless eyes break her, and she dissolves into tears. Uryu rushes past, blood pouring from the stump that was once his left hand, telling her he has already staunched the wound and to tend to Ichigo, then charges in with a Seele Schneider, only for Ulquiorra to cut him down. Terrified, Orihime raises a shield before him that Ulquiorra's tail smashes apart. At the end of her hope, she cries out for Ichigo to save her, and in answer his hair abruptly lengthens into a wild mane.

Five Bleach female characters, ranked and settled. Yoruichi sits at number five, the spot nobody expects, and our number one is an Arrancar with a soft heart....

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....
