Luppi Antenor

Youthful and almost girlish in the face, Luppi has short, curly black hair cropped unevenly above lavender eyes. Three pink stars line up over his left brow as his estigma, and the surviving shard of his Hollow mask, a set of upper teeth, perches on the left side of his head. The Espada tattoo shows plainly on his right hip. His clothing is a modified Arrancar outfit: a long-sleeved top loose enough to cloak his hands, slit at the left to hold his Zanpakutō, with two square cutouts baring his sides, worn over a white hakama, black sash, and open-toed shoes. Once Mayuri restores him, two stitched seams run vertically down his face across both eyes.

Arrogance runs through everything Luppi does. He needles Grimmjow over his lost rank and crows nonstop in a fight, tossing out a mocking 'sorry' after each insult and gloating about the odds stacked in his favor. Opponents who cannot challenge him bore him, so he invites four foes to come at him at once, and he loves to toy with anyone he judges beneath him. He is also thin-skinned, flaring up at the mildest provocation, and crude enough to leer at Rangiku Matsumoto one moment and threaten to kill her the next. Oddly, he got on well with Gin Ichimaru, who admitted to missing their frequent talks after Luppi's death.

As the former Sexta, Luppi holds a great store of spiritual energy, pink in hue, enough to fend off three lieutenants and a captain together during the Espada's second raid on Karakura Town. His Hierro toughens his skin against lieutenant-level strikes, and Descorrer lets him tear open a Garganta. His sealed Zanpakutō, Trepadora, is a small blade that on the command Strangle releases into eight enormous tentacles rooted to an octagonal plate on his back, crowned by a bony cowl. With them he spears foes through Lanza Tentáculo, crushes them from every angle with Jaula Tentáculo, spins whip-like blows via La Hélice, and sprouts piercing spikes with Hierro Virgen. After Mayuri rebuilds him for the Corpse Unit, Luppi's blood delivers a postcognition drug that traps a victim inside a mental time loop, though looping back more than ten times leaves the user paralyzed for thirty seconds.
