A Creeping Danger in the Kurosaki Family?! Ichigo's Confusion!

After Ginjō dangles the chance to reclaim his lost powers, Ichigo leaves the Xcution base to think it over. The group argues about whether he is worth the effort, with Jackie Tristan unconvinced and Riruka Dokugamine flustered every time her obvious interest is pointed out. Elsewhere, Shūkurō Tsukishima approaches a soul on the verge of full Hollowfication and stabs it with his bookmark-turned-sword, pressing it into a scheme of his own.

Over the following days Riruka spies on Ichigo, Orihime visits the hospitalized Uryū, and a strange presence keeps brushing against Ichigo's life. Karin senses an intruder outside their house one night, and Sado gently urges Ichigo to stop hiding how much his powerlessness torments him. When Xcution learns that someone unknown has been lurking near Ichigo, everyone grows alarmed.

Walking through town, Ichigo passes the smug stranger he links to the earlier attacks and gives chase, only to lose him and find Yuzu instead. A Hollow he cannot see snatches her, and though he manages to stab it blindly with a pole, he cannot reach his sister. Ginjō arrives, saves Yuzu, and bisects the Hollow with his Fullbring. Ichigo then commits to Xcution, and Ginjō hands back the Substitute Shinigami Badge he had thrown away, telling him to keep it safe.

Kūgo Ginjō offers to help Ichigo regain his Shinigami powers. Tsukishima stabs a Demi-Hollow to bind it to his plans. Karin senses an unknown presence outside the Kurosaki home. A Hollow abducts Yuzu, and Ginjō rescues her before killing it with his Fullbring. Ichigo agrees to join Xcution, and Ginjō returns his Substitute Shinigami Badge.

The episode belongs to the Lost Substitute Shinigami arc and adapts a portion of Chapter 433, with no formal fights. Powers shown include Ginjō's Fullbring, Cross of Scaffold, and Tsukishima's Book of the End, alongside flashback techniques from earlier battles. A closing Xcution Dictionary skit has Ginjō spin an absurd tale about recovering Ichigo's badge from a distant southern island.
