At the Urahara Shop, Kisuke reports that Ichigo Kurosaki's spiritual signature has vanished entirely, leaving Nozomi Kujō stunned. In Soul Society the true captains grind against their Reigai counterparts. Sajin Komamura endures the Reigai of Suì-Fēng, weathering her speed, her Hōmonka marks, and swarms of Shunpo clones, while Yamamoto shrugs off the combined assault of the copied Shunsui Kyōraku and Jūshirō Ukitake. Back in the Human World, Urahara reveals that Ichigo was last sensed in the Dangai as the Kōtotsu bore down, meaning he was likely swept into the Kōryū, and a grief-stricken Nozomi blames herself before Kon and the others insist Ichigo always keeps his promises.

The battles reach their climax. Yamamoto answers the Reigai's taunts by plunging his blade into the ground and trapping his foes in the towering flames of Ennetsu Jigoku. Komamura and the false Suì-Fēng, both spent, finally commit to their strongest cards, releasing Kokujō Tengen Myō'ō and Jakuhō Raikōben. Komamura cleaves the missile aside and emerges the victor before collapsing from exhaustion. Watching from his underground lair, Inaba notes Komamura's signature fading and predicts the rest will follow. Atop a tower, Byakuya Kuchiki refuses to yield to his own duplicate, and both leaders of the Kuchiki line release Senbonzakura Kageyoshi, their storms of petals colliding.

Urahara learns Ichigo vanished into the Kōryū within the Dangai. Yamamoto concludes his fight with the Reigai of Kyōraku and Ukitake using Ennetsu Jigoku. Komamura defeats Reigai-Suì-Fēng in a Bankai clash before collapsing. Byakuya and his Reigai counterpart both unleash Senbonzakura Kageyoshi as their duel intensifies.

Episode 327 is an anime-original entry in the Gotei 13 Invading Army arc and adapts no manga chapters. It opens with BLUE and closes with Aoi Tori. A lighthearted Illustrated Picture Book segment features lieutenants and Kyōraku bickering over the stars of the Bleach Rock Musical.
