The Most Evil Reigai, Appears in the Real World!

The counterfeit captains, copies known as Reigai, press their assault with power unbound by any limiter. Nozomi Kujō saves Ikkaku from the false Kenpachi by unleashing Arazomeshigure, while Izuru Kira and Hisagi struggle against the fake Hitsugaya, and Rangiku and Iba are outmatched by the copied Komamura. Ichigo explains to Nozomi that this entire battle is being fought to shield her, urging her to leave the captains to the others, but as the Reigai activate their Bankai and drive everyone toward one clearing, Nozomi insists that without her, all of them will die.

When the fake Hitsugaya sends an ice dragon at the fallen lieutenants, Nozomi absorbs the entire attack into Arazomeshigure and hurls his own power back, collapsing his Bankai in a violet explosion. The false Byakuya, however, refuses to be caught the same way and locks her down, reasoning they need only fight without letting her drain them. Uryū Ishida saves her from Komamura's Bankai, and after seeing her block his own arrows, he grasps her ability: as long as it is Reiatsu, from Zanpakutō, Kidō, or a Quincy bow, she can absorb it all.

Uryū proposes a desperate plan, and the defenders reluctantly agree to pour their power into Nozomi herself. Ichigo fires Getsuga Tenshō, Sado lets loose El Directo, Uryū uses Licht Wind, Rukia adds Hakuren, and the rest unleash their Reiatsu. Nozomi absorbs it all and releases a single overwhelming blast that engulfs every captain. Yet as the smoke clears, the false Byakuya survives behind a cracked Dankū barrier, blasts the group apart, and prepares to finish them, only to be consumed by a wall of flame from the arriving Captain-Commander Yamamoto.

The limiterless Reigai captains overpower the real-world defenders. Nozomi turns the fake Hitsugaya's Bankai back on him, then, on Uryū's plan, absorbs the combined Reiatsu of her allies and unleashes it against all the captains at once. The false Byakuya survives and counterattacks, until Yamamoto arrives and incinerates him.

This anime-only installment in the Gotei 13 Invading Army arc adapts no manga chapters, opening with BLUE and ending with Haruka Kanata. A closing skit has Uryū and Nozomi tease Ichigo about their shared power to absorb Spiritual Pressure, panicking him before Uryū admits touch alone cannot drain it.
