Tsukishima Attacks! The Training Has Been Thwarted

Riruka storms out of Xcution's base, refusing to watch Jackie's grimy Fullbring, Dirty Boots. Inside the tank, Ichigo's bout with Jackie carries on as she reads the patterns in his technique and explains that the filthier her boots become, the stronger she grows. She scolds him for sloppiness, noting he is most exposed after three straight strikes, only for Ichigo to reveal the opening was bait; he kicks her from behind as Bringer Light flickers off his foot, a sign, Jackie says, that he is starting to grasp Fullbring.

Sado arrives and asks Ginjō about Tsukishima's ability. Ginjō describes Book of the End as a blade that can cut through anything yet carries no special power of its own. Meanwhile Ichigo's Fullbring begins overflowing with his Reiatsu and spiraling out of control. Jackie calls the training off, saying they pushed him too hard, but Ichigo refuses to stop and slams her down to keep the fight going.

Just as the sparring escalates, the entrance to the headquarters is sliced open and Tsukishima strolls in, greeting his fellow Fullbringers before carving open the fish tank itself. Ichigo's runaway Reiatsu swirls through the chamber and he emerges at full size, clad in a new second-form Fullbring that resembles a Shinigami shihakushō with a dark blade sheathing his right arm.

Much of the episode leans on flashbacks to Ichigo's past battles and lost powers, alongside glimpses of Jackie's family history. The comedic Xcution Dictionary segment has Riruka spray paint onto Jackie's boots to fake a distressed look, only for an irritated Jackie to stamp cracks across the floor and send the whole building shaking. No formal fight is logged, as the training bout and Tsukishima's arrival set up the following episode's confrontation.
