The Knuckle & The Arrow

Uryu levels his newly formed Heilig Bogen, Ginrei Kojaku, drawing a startled remark from Ichigo about whether it is really a bow. Insisting he would wield nothing else, Uryu looses a Heilig Pfeil in a searing burst at Aisslinger Wernarr. Nearby, a rattled Demoura Zodd throws a punch that Sado simply catches with Brazo Derecha de Gigante, then flips and slams him into the floor with Grua Tirar.

Aisslinger flees on Sonido, only for Uryu to overtake him with Hirenkyaku and calmly praise the technique's speed. Aghast that a human matches him, he is told that Uryu is no ordinary human but a Quincy. When Aisslinger boasts of his Una Tirotear and hurls hundreds of energy bullets from his tendril fingers, Uryu answers with a storm of Heilig Pfeil, revealing that Ginrei Kojaku can release twelve hundred arrows at once, and the surge overwhelms the Arrancar from every side.

Spent and on his knees, Demoura refuses to fall to someone he deems weak and lashes out with his last resort, extending his tongue in a Lengua Tronco. Sado halts it cold with Brazo Derecha de Gigante, points out that a desperation move means the fight is already over, and lets the shoulder guard of his arm flare open with power. Regretting that he must strike a foe who has lost the will to continue, he drives El Directo into Demoura's stomach.

The chapter opens volume 28, BARON'S LECTURE FULL-COURSE, and showcases the leaps in strength both Sado and Uryu made before the invasion. It was adapted into episode 144 of the anime, Ishida and Chad, the Quickening of a New Power.
