As Aizen vanishes into the pillar of light, Ichigo cries out for Urahara, who warns that the fight is far from over and that their enemy will return at any moment. Sure enough, Aizen bursts free in an entirely new shape. He instantly places himself among the three fighters and tells Urahara that sealing him with his own signature technique would have worked against nearly anyone else. He corrects himself, noting that only implanting and subduing the Hogyoku spared him.

Pulling a bracelet from beneath his wrist covering, Aizen explains that the orb he was handed exceeded even its creator's understanding, so the counter Urahara built specifically for this duel could never reach him. Urahara draws his blade, prompting Aizen to ask whether he now means to answer with brute force. Isshin closes in from behind, and the two men snare Aizen's sword hand and one ankle at once, wrenching him into a helpless posture.

From above, Yoruichi Shihoin descends in armored arms and legs, slamming into his back hard enough to wreck the surrounding blocks, then landing a punch that flattens an entire district. Urahara shouts for her to pull away. Aizen recovers and, before she can fully escape, destroys the guard on her left leg. Emerging from the debris with his fresh form badly fractured, he asks whether that is the extent of their effort and urges them to hurry, promising to shatter every last one of them into tiny fragments.

Aizen transforms again and reveals that only his mastery of the Hogyoku let him survive Urahara's seal. A coordinated ambush by Urahara, Isshin, and a newly arrived Yoruichi cracks his new body, but Aizen retaliates by wrecking Yoruichi's leg armor and taunting the group.

The 403rd chapter belongs to the Deicide portion of the Fake Karakura Town battle and appears in the forty-sixth volume, BACK FROM BLIND. It brings Yoruichi Shihoin into the fray and was adapted as anime Episode 300, Urahara Appears! Stop Aizen!
