The Substitute Shinigami arc closes in on its climax as Soul Society's captains regroup after their pocket-dimension battles, and Kugo Ginjo presses Ichigo Kurosaki with an unsettling question about what, and who, he is truly fighting to defend.
Standing over a beaten Tsukishima, Byakuya Kuchiki hears the Fullbringer accuse him of cruelty toward the very man he supposedly owes. The captain concedes that such a debt could never truly be settled, yet insists that anyone who threatens Ichigo will be struck down without a shred of regret.
As Yukio Hans Vorarlberna's pocket rooms dissolve, the separated Shinigami find one another again. Kenpachi Zaraki emerges to needle Ikkaku Madarame, Renji Abarai staggers free after surviving Jackie Tristan's suicidal blast, and Toshiro Hitsugaya appears with Yukio in custody. Byakuya carries a wounded Rukia to Renji, noting that she is stable but that the presence of whoever struck her has vanished entirely.
Cornered by Hitsugaya, Yukio describes the bargain Xcution once made to loan their powers between Fullbringer and Substitute, and admits that his own trapped space cannot be released unless Ginjo commands it.
Elsewhere, Ichigo and Kugo Ginjo exchange mirrored Getsuga Tensho and clash blades. Ginjo observes that Ichigo battles as though heedless of his own safety, then drops that Tsukishima is dying, warning that a Fullbringer's death wipes away every altered memory he ever planted. Pressing Ichigo on what he is truly protecting, Ginjo begins to point him toward the real foe he should be facing.
Byakuya finishes Tsukishima and refuses him any mercy. The Gotei 13 members freed from Yukio's dimensions reassemble, with the young Fullbringer taken prisoner and Rukia recovered alive. Yukio reveals the power-sharing arrangement binding Xcution and confirms his ability answers only to Ginjo. The duel between Ichigo and Ginjo intensifies as Ginjo exploits the truth of Tsukishima's fading life to unsettle his opponent's resolve.

Five Bleach female characters, ranked and settled. Yoruichi sits at number five, the spot nobody expects, and our number one is an Arrancar with a soft heart....

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....
