Yukio Hans Vorarlberna

Yukio is a small, boyish figure with green eyes and spiky blond hair whose fringe tends to fall across his left eye. He dresses almost entirely in dark tones, pairing a black cap and coat with dark trousers and boots, offset by a white cravat and white gloves.

On the surface Yukio wears a bright, friendly manner, but it masks a cold and deeply self-absorbed streak. He enjoys mocking others, boasts openly about ruining his own family and driving his parents to suicide, and revels in playing god within the digital worlds his power creates. That swaggering ego collapses the instant his own life is at risk, when he turns frantic and terrified. By his own admission he has never formed a genuine bond with anyone, Fullbring or not. While under the sway of Tsukishima's power he grows noticeably quieter and calmer, speaking only when something catches his interest.

As a Fullbringer, Yukio carries more spiritual energy than an ordinary human, can sense other Fullbringers from a distance, perceive Shinigami, and move at enhanced speed. His true weapon, however, is his Fullbring, Invaders Must Die, which he channels through a handheld video game console and can sustain only while that console holds battery power.

The power lets him seal people inside a boxlike pocket dimension, cutting their spiritual pressure off from the outside world, a process he calls Saving, with the reverse being Loading. Inside that game world he rules like its designer: he can grant combatants hit points to simulate lethal fights without real danger, reshape terrain, adjust the weather, gravity, and the flow of time, conjure everyday comforts like tables and beds, and even fast-forward hours of training into minutes of real time. He can also tag targets with a tracker to hunt them down.

After Kūgo Ginjō shares some of Ichigo Kurosaki's stolen power with him, his Fullbring evolves into Digital Radial Invaders, adding white gauntlets and armor that let him project his game world into reality. In this state he can camouflage himself to near invisibility, spawn hard-light clones that behave exactly like the people they copy, form blades and missiles out of nothing, raise shields, loose programmed monsters, and seal each of his allies and their opponents into private battle chatrooms that vanish once a fight is decided. His one glaring flaw is physical: he must press the buttons of his console to control any of this, so freezing his hands, as Hitsugaya did, leaves him defenseless against his own creations.
