As she blankets the ground in fire, the smoke parts to reveal Sajin Komamura standing over the fallen captain. Momo Hinamori rushes in with Tobiume, but Bambietta's projectiles force Komamura to snatch her from the air, and he warns that the shots cannot be turned aside, since a single touch converts whatever they strike into a bomb rather than bursting on their own.

Bambietta smothers the pair in blasts meant to strip away his armor, eager to glimpse the beast beneath. Instead the smoke clears on a human face and body.
