Chapter 578 has Gremmy Thoumeaux abandon direct force after Nozarashi splits his meteor, ringing Kenpachi with the vacuum of space and clone-borne bombs. Kenpachi survives it all, and Gremmy's last gambit, willing himself stronger, tears his own body apart.
Stunned that one stroke of Nozarashi destroyed his meteor, Gremmy brands Kenpachi a monster, only to be reminded there is nothing the captain cannot cut. Changing tactics, Gremmy spawns a ring of clones and decides to kill Kenpachi with something formless, wrapping him in a bubble of open space. Kenpachi's blood boils and his fluids evaporate as a clone narrates his coming death, but he drags himself out by the edge and nearly bisects that clone, which forgot to harden its body.
The severed clone sprouts a bomb, and the others follow suit, latching onto Kenpachi before detonating together in a blast that rocks the fortress. He walks out with his haori gone and only light burns, prompting Gremmy to call him a true monster and vow to become stronger than him.
Hurling himself forward, Gremmy swells his muscles and insists he will finally win and prove himself, but the overtaxed body cracks and rips apart before he can land, dropping him from the air. Kenpachi concludes that Gremmy imagined him as insurmountable and destroyed himself chasing a standard he had already decided was beyond reach, which he judges foolish.
Unable to cut Kenpachi down, Gremmy tries the vacuum of space, then bomb-laden clones that detonate together, both of which Kenpachi endures. Gremmy attempts to overpower Kenpachi by inflating his own muscles, but the strain shreds his body and he falls from the sky, undone by his own conviction that Kenpachi was unbeatable.

Five Bleach female characters, ranked and settled. Yoruichi sits at number five, the spot nobody expects, and our number one is an Arrancar with a soft heart....

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....
