Chapter 580 sees four female Sternritter, the Bambies, overwhelm a battered Kenpachi and his men. Candice's lightning, Meninas's strength, Liltotto's devouring mouth, and Giselle's corpse-raising blood cut down the Shinigami until an explosion splits the sky.

Summary

Candice Catnipp's lightning fells several of Kenpachi's men, and their comrades curse her as they cradle the dead. When she readies another strike, Kenpachi flashes in behind her, but she slips away and wreathes him in lightning; Meninas McAllon then hammers him into a crater. Candice marvels that he still moves at all after facing Gremmy.

As the surviving Shinigami rally around their captain, Liltotto Lamperd blocks them, calling it fair to exploit the weakened state of a Special War Power, and conjures an enormous mouth that devours them by the handful while complaining they taste poor. Kenpachi's attempt to warn the others off draws another of Candice's bolts, and Meninas drops a whole building onto the men rushing to his side, telling them it is pointless to save a captain who is already dying.

Elsewhere, Giselle Gewelle claims she has no real combat power and urges the Shinigami to help Kenpachi instead, but one slashes her across the chest anyway. Rather than fall, she reveals that her blood turns any it touches into obedient corpses, and she orders the splattered soldiers to end their own lives. The four Bambies gather around the immobile Kenpachi, who wonders if this is his end, and bicker over who should finish him, until an explosion erupts in the sky overhead.
