Greeting a stunned Orihime, Ichigo confirms Yhwach's read that this new shape emerges when he fuses with his Hollow powers, then recounts how he reforged his Zanpakuto once his Hollow and Quincy sides settled into balance. Because that equilibrium can be broken, and because his Hollow nature had always surged up whenever he pushed his Shinigami strength, Ichigo reveals he deliberately used Yhwach's own power to coax it back out, drawing a grin from the king.

Positioning himself ahead of Orihime's Santen Kesshun and telling her to hold her guard, Ichigo lets his spiritual pressure erupt, shredding most of the chamber around them. Yhwach praises the display and conjures his broadsword, only for Ichigo to seize him and strike at point-blank range, collapsing still more of the tower. The king catches the blade barehanded, scoffs that a strength like Ichigo's could never wound him, and flings him away. Undeterred, Ichigo shapes a Getsuga Tensho, merges it with a Gran Rey Cero, and fires the combined blast, carving a deep wound across Yhwach.

Ichigo explains that his new form comes from melding his Hollow powers, drawn out using Yhwach's own strength. He unleashes his spiritual pressure, destroying much of the throne room. Yhwach blocks Ichigo's close-range strike barehanded and throws him back. Ichigo combines a Getsuga Tensho with a Gran Rey Cero and lands a deep cut on Yhwach.

This is the 676th chapter of Bleach, collected as the second chapter of the seventy-fourth and final volume, THE DEATH AND THE STRAWBERRY. The chapter demonstrates the powers of the Hollow-infused form Ichigo unveiled in the preceding installment during his climactic clash with Yhwach.
