Chapter 150: Holiday

A day after beating the Japan U-20, Anri Teieri returns Yoichi Isagi's belongings and his two-week break begins. At home, Isagi tells his mother he plans to see friends before heading to Shibuya. He meets Hyoma Chigiri and Meguru Bachira at a cafe, where Chigiri explains who could not make it: Jingo Raichi and Ikki Niko declined, Yo Hiori lives far from Tokyo, Gurimu Igarashi is needed at his temple, and Gin Gagamaru has holed up on a mountain and asked not to be found. Chigiri regrets not having a way to reach Rensuke Kunigami, and Isagi is dismayed to learn by text that Seishiro Nagi has only just woken up.

Isagi savors his regained freedom as Chigiri shows the others a news piece on their win and Blue Lock's surging global attention. Bachira mocks Hirotoshi Buratsuta of the Japan Football Union for stealing credit for founding the project, while Isagi and Chigiri take pride in how far it has come. Chigiri then spots Reo Mikage, Tabito Karasu, Aoshi Tokimitsu, Eita Otoya, Kenyu Yukimiya, and Jyubei Aryu seated at a cafe across the street, and Bachira invites the whole group to spend the day together.

When Nagi finally texts that he is stopping at an arcade, the group ambushes him on arrival, playing claw machines, darts, pool, and ping pong. Reo proposes karaoke, and on the way they witness a couple's argument over cheating, only to discover Oliver Aiku is the culprit. Aiku leads them to the booth where the rest of the U-20 team waits; Kazuma Nio snaps at them while Aiku dares them into a bowling match with dinner on the line. At the bowling center they find Shoei Baro playing solo and needle him by handling his personal ball without asking.

The Blue Lock contestants receive a two-week break and permission to leave the facility. Isagi, Chigiri, and Bachira reunite in Shibuya and merge with a larger group of teammates. They ambush a late-arriving Nagi at an arcade and spend the day playing games. A chance karaoke encounter reunites them with the Japan U-20, and Aiku challenges them to a bowling match with dinner as the wager.

This is the opening chapter of Volume 18 and the 150th overall, part of the U-20 Arc. Written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and drawn by Yusuke Nomura, it released in Japan on November 2, 2021, in Issue 2021-49, and in the United States on March 21, 2023. No anime episode is listed for this chapter.
