As he winds up and Yukimiya moves to block, Chigiri dummies into a cut-in to get by. Just as he prepares to fire, Kaiser bowls him over, sneering that he was too slow. Held back, Chigiri opts to release the ball instead, sliding a pass to Chris Prince.

Noa closes on Prince, telling the world's number two that he intends to crush him, and Kunigami piles in to help block the shot even as Agi tries to hold him back. Prince calls Noa rational but claims he has built an irrational weapon to overcome him.

Bracing to make the save, Gagamaru realizes the ball carries no spin, wobbling on an unpredictable line he is unsure how to handle. He notices Isagi rushing in to support despite not watching the ball at all. Isagi orders Gagamaru to duck low while he leaps up to smother the strike, and Raichi and Igarashi cheer from the touchline as the meatshield gamble snuffs out Prince's effort. Stunned that his shot was denied, Prince hears Isagi brand him a loser, explaining that he wagered on rationality by shielding the most dangerous area rather than tracking the ball's flight. Declaring that he has devoured the world's number two, Isagi announces that his moment has come.

Blocked by Yukimiya and then Kaiser, Chigiri passes to Chris Prince. Prince launches an unpredictable no-spin shot, which is stopped by a meatshield formed by Isagi and Gagamaru. Isagi declares that he has devoured the world's second-ranked player through pure logic.

As the final chapter of volume 22, the installment resolves the attacking sequence with Isagi's rational gamble, using positioning over ball-tracking to deny Prince, and frames the block as the payoff of his growing metavision-driven logic.
