Zombie is the eighth chapter of Blue Lock's twenty-fourth volume and the 211th overall, part of the Neo Egoist League Arc. Don Lorenzo drives forward with his unsettling dribble as the Bastard Munchen versus Ubers match gets underway.
Commentary flags Lorenzo's incisive run and names him among the New Generation World XI. On the ground, Kaiser tells the defender to lose the grin and calls his gold teeth unnerving. Lorenzo counters that toppling a three-hundred-million-yen star would make him the pricier man, and when Kaiser accuses him of valuing everyone by their fee, Lorenzo cheerfully agrees, rattling off the transfer bids of several Bastard players before urging Ubers to devour them whole.
As Bastard set up a counter, Kunigami steps in to confront Lorenzo, but a lurching, unpredictable dribble carries the defender past both Kunigami and Raichi. He dubs the technique his Zombie-step, and despite being a center back, he charges upfield while Niko drops back to cover his vacated post. Watching the shape of it, Hiori recognizes Lorenzo as the pivot holding Ubers' structure together.
Nearing the net and slipping past Mensah, Lorenzo readies a shot, but Hiori spots the real danger, that the collective fixation on Lorenzo has let Baro drift unnoticed. Baro storms in with a predatory presence, and Lorenzo teases about feeding him on schedule. Before the pass reaches Baro, Isagi darts in and takes the ball, having decoded the trick behind Baro's hat trick. The read impresses the field, and Lorenzo questions whether Isagi is truly only a fifty-million player.
Lorenzo carries the ball goalward using his Zombie-step dribbling after breaking through Bastard's challenge. When he tries to release the ball to Baro, Isagi anticipates the move and intercepts it.
