Summary

Isagi celebrates as Kaiser and Rin howl in frustration, and Karasu, Tokimitsu, Raichi, and Nanase all marvel at the finish, with Shido dubbing it a magnificent explosion. Kunigami snaps that he will not be feeding him anymore, branding him a needy egoist, and Isagi throws back that Kunigami is a fair-play junkie before daring him to settle it on the pitch again.

An excited Hiori climbs onto Isagi's shoulders, asking how much of it he had actually mapped out. Isagi admits he simply trusted Hiori's pass and Kunigami's ability to beat Shido, that he never accounted for Rin and Kaiser arriving, and that the two-gun volley was pure improvisation drawn from Nagi's juggling strike back in Chapter 179. Hiori is thrilled, telling him that raising the move's reliability would make him impossible to stop.

Noa praises the goal and, seeing that funneling play through Isagi is paying off, pulls Grim and sends on Kurona, leaving Ness as Kaiser's only real support. Isagi pictures the outcomes ahead, imagining that scoring one goal beyond Kaiser would put their rivalry to rest, while a hat-trick could carry him past Rin to the top of the entire league.
