Summary

Isagi lines up to take Hiori's long-range delivery while boxed in by Chapa, Gabon, and Michelin, then slips them with a diagonal burst. Sensing that Shido will come to shadow him, he peels away from the ball rather than toward it, a move that throws Shido off entirely. Kunigami swoops in on the ball instead and nods a blind header over to Isagi, telling him they are square now for the steak he once owed.

Because Kunigami had always played only for himself, nobody saw that pass coming. As Isagi breaks clear with the ball arriving from behind, Rin sprints up on his left and Kaiser on his right. He reads that Rin expects a straight shot and will cut off the angle, while Kaiser will lunge to poke the ball away if he tries to trap it. Torn over which foot to use, he settles on both, faking with the left to freeze Rin before hammering a direct strike with the right, an improvised two-gun volley that finds the net and levels the score at 1 to 1.
