Shido carries the ball forward with ease until Otoya's sudden challenge, backed by Saramadara, forces it loose. Isagi pounces, links up with Rin through a run of quick exchanges under pressure from Shiguma, only for Chigiri to dart in and steal his final pass, mocking his thinking as too easy to read. When Saramadara moves to clear, Shido storms back in and finishes without so much as glancing at the goal, explaining that every cell in his body is bending toward scoring. Isagi recognizes it as the very talent that had ended Kunigami's run.

Karasu, meanwhile, claims to have already logged and solved Shido's game. Taking the ball, he lures Isagi in by staring anywhere but the ball, then reveals his method of hunting an opponent's weak points, branding Isagi the mediocre soft spot of Team A and the first player he intends to break. Even caught in a pincer between Shido and Isagi, Karasu tips both of them off balance, works free, and curls the ball into the top corner to draw Team B level, promising to grind salt into the wound.

Shido opens the scoring with a no-look shot. Chigiri blocks Isagi's intended pass to Rin. Karasu escapes a pincer set by Shido and Isagi to net Team B's first goal, leaving the match tied 1 to 1.
