History

At an unstated time, the Death Devil overpowered the Legs Devil and pressed it into her service as a pawn. Its moment arrives during the War Devil arc. After Yoru drives the Moon Spear through Denji and gives chase, she abruptly buckles atop a building and discovers that everything below her waist has vanished. The cause traces back to the Fourth East High School, where Denji has eaten the Legs Devil's effigy, one of several Devil pawns the Death Devil handed him while he pretended to ally with her. As he keeps consuming more pawns, Yoru rages, and around the globe creatures find themselves unable to move for want of legs. She works out that erasing a concept does not always reshape the world instantly.

Denji then swallows the Teeth Devil and wipes teeth from existence as well. Barely able to form words, Yoru spots a motorcycle as she falls and converts it into a Chainsaw Motorcycle, ramming it into him so hard that he vomits up a jumble of body parts and previously eaten Devils. She drags herself to him and forces her arm into his mouth, warning that turning him into a weapon at that instant would lock his erasures in place for good. The threat makes him cough the Legs and Teeth Devils back up, restoring her ability to talk and walk.
