Aha Ha Ha Ha gives Yuko a tragic farewell. She confesses she turned devil chasing the love Chainsaw Man enjoys and admits she only befriended Asa out of loneliness. A tender parting over returned shoes ends in horror when a Chainsaw Man silhouette beheads her.
Pressed on whether she would truly eat Asa, Yuko turns anxious and admits that she might, then explains she actually stopped by to say farewell, weighing the idea of seeking out a devil-hunting relative who could restore her humanity. When Asa apologizes for the way everything unraveled, Yuko cuts her off and confesses the real reason she became a devil: she craved the adoration and fame that Chainsaw Man commands. She also owns up that she first approached the lonely Asa purely to manufacture a friendship.
Yuko spirals into self-loathing, calling herself the worst as the countless thoughts her Justice Devil contract forces into her head overwhelm her, all while one of her tendrils absently tightens around Asa's throat. She yanks the limb back, apologizing that her own body no longer obeys her. She bids Asa a proper goodbye, cautioning her never to bargain with the Justice Devil and revealing that it dwells at their school. As a parting gesture Asa returns Yuko's old shoes, and the pair share a laugh before Yuko promises to come back someday to give them back.
Bounding across rooftops, Yuko startles a flock of birds into flight and idly wishes she could read their minds as well. Then the snarl of a chainsaw splits the air. A shadowy figure bearing the unmistakable outline of Chainsaw Man decapitates her and leaves her body hanging upside down as she chokes out his name, while Asa, Denji, Nayuta, and one of their classmates sleep soundly nearby.
Yuko reveals she became a devil to win the love Chainsaw Man receives and that she befriended Asa only because Asa had no friends. Her contract floods her mind with others' thoughts and costs her control of her body. After a warm goodbye and the return of her old shoes, Yuko is beheaded by a Chainsaw Man lookalike, dying with his name on her lips.
