Summary

Tearing across Tokyo, Denji marvels that he never realized he could reshape a motorbike, never guessing the change was Asa's work. Asa repeats the impostor Chainsaw Man's advice, that simply outrunning the tendrils should win them their freedom. When Denji wonders aloud whether the doppelganger can be trusted, she points out that he did pull both of them from danger. The tendrils coil overhead and slam down, yet the two slip past with barely a moment to spare.

Key Events

The source of the tendrils proves to be the very same Devil the Falling Devil had been serving earlier. Shielding his face with his hands, the Justice Devil drags himself into the physical world through one of the tendrils, reshapes a hand into a mallet, and swings it at the pair. Denji asks what kind of Devil wields such power, only for Asa to steer his eyes toward the road ahead and the high-rise hovering above it.

The Falling Devil flings the entire building at them, but the two slice clean through its bulk. Bursting upward on the far side, they come face to face once more with the caterpillar-bodied Devil, whose torso splits open to bare an enormous mouth.
