Denji shifts back into Chainsaw Man, sending the watching bystanders scattering. Miri Sugo and the Spear Hybrid let go of Fumiko and assume their own Hybrid forms in response. With the odds tilting against them, Nayuta urges Denji to escape alongside her, but he turns her down. As a bystander carries Nayuta clear, Denji confides to Pochita about his predicament, grateful nonetheless to once again be Chainsaw Man.

Miri and the Whip Hybrid rush him together, and he holds them back with his chainsaws. The Spear Hybrid catches him unaware, pinning him from overhead, yet Denji slices through both the attacker and himself before devouring the Spear Hybrid to mend his injuries, leaving the onlookers aghast. The Whip Hybrid lashes out in horror, but Denji slips the blow, lops off her left leg, and then hammers his chainsaws into her body over and over.

Watching her allies fall, Miri throws herself at Denji in desperation. The pair run each other through with their respective weapons, but Denji comes out on top as Miri sags lifeless. A distressed Nayuta cries out to him while he mutters about giving people massages. Baffled, she begs him to run, only for Denji to caution her to stay away from him for her own good. For all the suffering his life has held, he feels wonderful, and he laughs wildly as he rips through Miri's body.

Denji transforms into Chainsaw Man and refuses Nayuta's plea to flee. He bisects himself and the Spear Hybrid, then eats the Hybrid to regenerate. He severs the Whip Hybrid's leg and beats her down, then kills Miri Sugo after the two impale each other. Rambling about giving massages, Denji warns Nayuta to keep her distance while laughing hysterically over Miri's body.

Published on January 10, 2024 as part of Volume 17 and the Chainsaw Man Church arc, this chapter showcases Denji's first major rampage since reclaiming his Chainsaw Man form.
