Summary

Yoru launches a second shot at Pochita, but he deflects it; the recoil hurls him into a building close by. Aware that Asa stands behind her, Yoru reflects that both the Tank and Gun Devils sprang from War, making them her own kind. Asa again questions whether destroying Black Chainsaw Man will deliver the normal life Denji wants, and Yoru affirms it, citing Fami's earlier promise. When Asa asks whether she truly accepts turning her kin into armaments, Yoru counters by wondering aloud if children belong to their parents, which stuns Asa.

Key Events

Springing free of the wreckage, Pochita perches on the rooftop. Yoru asks if he recalls her, and the suffering and starvation she once inflicted on him. He stays silent, so she erupts and demands a battle, but he runs instead. He nears a blood-drive volunteer and frightens her away mid-chant, then grabs her sign and tries to copy the chanting himself.

Notes

For her next assault, Yoru fuels the attack by claiming one index finger each from 40,000 gun-club members, around one percent of the 3.5 million people in America's National Pistol Association. Striking the stance of the Statue of Liberty, she drops her own index finger and splits open the statue's face.
