The 210th chapter of Chainsaw Man during the War Devil arc. Yoru finishes Falling Devil with a peace sign and sings the American anthem as Soviet cities burn in her visions. Denji then wakes in a classroom, revived by the Death Devil, who tells him to use the name Li'l D.
Remembering that nuclear arms exist, Yoru puzzles over why the Nuclear Weapons Devil came to mind, given that the first Chainsaw Man devoured it; glancing at Denji, she jokes that maybe he coughed it back up. The War Devil works out that America rebuilding such bombs from nothing during its Soviet conflict is the cause. Just then Falling Devil knits herself back from Yoru's savage blow and lunges, only for Yoru to surface directly behind her.
Throwing up a peace sign, Yoru announces her win and reshapes the dying Primal Fear into a fresh outfit, noting she felt chilly. As her body comes apart, Falling Devil cannot believe she lost, and with her memories rushing back Yoru beams in joyful understanding: she had loved America. She thanks the nation for leaving her mighty, dreaded, and impossible to resist, then breaks into the United States anthem. As she sings, visions wash over her of wrecked Soviet cities, survivors clawing free of debris, and rows of blackened bodies.
Her song done and her new clothes finished, Yoru raises her chin with a hand on her chest. Uneasy behind her, Asa asks whether she will now carry out her dreadful designs against mankind. Rather than answer, the War Devil orders Asa to wait and observe, then strides off. Far away, Denji comes to in some classroom after a hand pulls his cord, and the one who brought him back proves to be the Death Devil. He calls her Fami, hoping for answers, but Death gently corrects him, denying she was ever the Famine Devil, and says he should address her as Li'l D instead.
Yoru defeats Falling Devil with a peace sign, converting the Primal Fear into new clothing, and recovers the memory of having fallen for America before singing its anthem over visions of ruined Soviet cities. She refuses to explain her plans to Asa, ordering her to watch. Meanwhile Denji wakes in a classroom revived by the Death Devil, who denies being Fami and asks to be called Li'l D.
Part of Volume 22 and bearing the Japanese title Pīsu, the chapter caps the Falling Devil battle and uncovers Yoru's strange devotion to America. The Death Devil's reveal reframes the earlier Famine Devil assumption. The chapter's cast centers on Yoru and a wary Asa Mitaka, brings back Denji alongside Pochita, closes out the beaten Falling Devil, and folds in passing mention of the long-eaten Nuclear Weapons Devil before the Death Devil steps forward.
