Summary

Makima keeps her bleeding hand above Denji's mouth while roughly two dozen Public Safety members drift up behind her, chains snaking from their torsos to link them to her. She tugs his chest cord to rouse him, and he immediately lops off her head. The injury simply transfers: a chained officer loses his head instead while Makima's reattaches by threads of blood.

Denji slices her chest open, only for the wound to pass to another linked body. Makima answers with a barrage of punches, hammering his torso until blood sprays from his mouth, yet his every strike is undone by her chained sacrifices and instant regeneration.

Key Events

The exchange grows savage. A headless Makima kicks Denji's chin; he kicks her chest in return. As her head reattaches she destroys his arm, then punches clean through his torso, grabs a fistful of spilling guts, and tears his chest apart until both his arms are ripped away. Gripping his armless body by the handle on his head, she begins extracting Pochita and tells him that even with nothing but her fists he lost, proof he is not Chainsaw Man. Denji spits blood in her face, and she retorts that the real Chainsaw Man never did such things.
