Jet suits up in a flight uniform, his left arm a cybernetic replacement lost during his ISSP years. A vertical scar crosses his left eye, flanked by a small plate of metal.

He keeps his animated self's love of cooking and bonsai, but this Jet is above all a father. Devoted to his daughter Kimmie, he will bend over backward to please her and hold their bond together.

Jet crashes into a casino job with Spike, grumbling about the mess even as he racks up his own kills. A tip from his old colleague Chalmers sends the pair after Asimov Solensan, and the hunt draws in the sharp-tongued Faye Valentine.

Across the season Jet chases a serial bomber, a disguised con named Hakim, and the eco-terrorist Maria Murdock, all while scrambling to buy Kimmie a birthday doll. A buried case resurfaces when his former partner Fad returns during the pursuit of Udai Taxim, and Jet learns Fad himself was the traitor who framed him years earlier.

The past finally collides with the present when Vicious seizes Kimmie to trade for Spike. Jet drives to the exchange with Spike hidden in his trunk, only for the enemy to melt into holograms. Faye's gunship saves them from the church ambush, letting Jet flee with his daughter. When Spike returns, Jet cuts him loose with a warning to never cross his path again, then lifts the Bebop off the planet.
