Kimmie Black

Kimmie is a little girl with light brown skin and brown eyes, her curly brown hair set in a perm.

She comes across as gentle and guileless, an innocent child untouched by the darker world her father moves through.

Jet brings her up as her eighth birthday nears, mentioning she has her heart set on a Walking Sally Doll. Unable to land the toy, he shows up instead with a dog he names Ein, but his ex-wife Alisa turns the pet away over the steep taxes levied on dogs. As Jet leaves, Kimmie runs out after him to ask whether Ein is his dog and whether she might reach out to the pup now and then; Jet readily tells her she can contact Ein whenever she likes.

Her existence is hinted at earlier as well, when Jet tells Fad that he and his partner had settled on a name for their unborn child. Hoping to catch Kimmie's recital, Jet meant to keep his ship docked at a particular port, but circumstances left him watching it through a shop window in Santo City instead. Later, Vicious seizes her as a hostage in a bid to draw out and destroy Spike; she is freed, though the ordeal leaves her badly shaken.
