Anzu

Her reddish-brown hair is gathered into a neat bun fronted by straight bangs. Day to day she turns up in the Kami High uniform: a dark blazer buttoned over a collared shirt with a bow, a short dark skirt, sandals, and long socks.

Less of a talker than Tsubame, Anzu nonetheless stood firmly with Aira, sure her friend was in the right, and was even prepared to carry out the ridiculous exorcism Aira wanted aimed at Momo.

Early in the Acrobatic Silky Arc, the two girls rejoined Aira after her encounter with Okarun and delighted in hearing how she had toyed with him, then froze when a basin crashed onto Aira's head and Momo sauntered past taking a shot at them. The following day they reluctantly rounded up a cross and a book for a ritual; once Aira insisted the world's salvation had fallen to her, friendship won out and they played along despite her odd streak. They couldn't see the red-dressed woman and figured she was Momo's familiar, and come afternoon they jumped Momo and tied her down so Aira could try her exorcism, only for Momo's psychic blast to hurl them into a wall and knock them cold.

During the Serpo Arc the pair collected Aira at the nurse's office once she had been found in her underwear. In class Aira stunned Anzu by confessing she herself had started the ugly rumor about Momo, and the two friends decided to drop her rather than be shunned by their classmates. They stayed away through the Evil Eye Arc, jolted when Momo and Okarun dragged Aira off. In a Volume 16 bonus, the Evil Eye, noticing the girls regretted deserting Aira, pinned them down and pressed until they agreed to make peace; over lunch they apologized in tears and Aira took them back. By a Volume 19 extra their friendship had quietly revived, and Momo, not wishing to break it up, opted against asking Aira to join her and Okarun on a trip to Renjaku High for Unji.
