With Turbo Granny seemingly beaten, Momo and Okarun navigate an awkward new closeness at school until Okarun reveals his testicles are still missing. Seiko's inspection then exposes Turbo Granny hiding inside him, kicking off a tense bargain.
Peace returns after the tunnel ordeal, and the shared trauma has pulled Momo and Okarun nearer even as both stumble over how to act around each other. The mood shifts when Okarun admits a troubling problem, leading the pair back to Seiko's expertise.
The two fail to reunite at lunch, bumping heads when they finally collide, and a public spat over whether they are dating fractures their fragile friendship. Okarun then discovers in the bathroom that his restored genitals are missing the testicles. Later, a classmate named Aira feigns kindness toward him purely to toy with his feelings; overhearing her boast, Momo telekinetically drops a washbasin onto Aira and reconciles with Okarun on the walk home. He shifts the subject to his missing balls, prompting a visit to Seiko.
Seiko inspects Okarun's soul, senses something lodged inside him, and has Momo extract the shifting aura, which animates a maneki-neko doll that bolts off before Momo restrains it. The doll is Turbo Granny, who slipped into Okarun to dodge exorcism and now vows revenge once her power returns. She commands him to murder Momo and Seiko if he ever wants the testicles back, which triggers his enraged transformation. Momo, unable to hate the spirit after learning of her kindness to the dead girls, offers a deal: returned power for help finding the lost balls. Turbo Granny agrees but admits she has lost them. Adapts Chapter 8 through Chapter 11, opening the Acrobatic Silky Arc.
