Daiki's Mother

Her dark hair falls to just above the shoulders. The feature that stands out most is a single long lock that springs out near the left of her scalp.

Much like her husband, she showered love on their son, and that indulgent upbringing left Daiki feeling superior to other kids. He took to bragging about his father's prestigious work as a pilot and about his own sessions on home flight simulators, certain he would one day fly planes too.

The birthday present her husband chose, an antique trunk that proved to be cursed, sealed Daiki away within the Danmara dimension. When Vega and his son Unji eventually tracked the couple down and presented a son who looked decades older, the mother was offended while her husband called it a prank, since to them only four years had slipped by. Both retreated into their apartment, unknowingly forsaking their child.

The curse was later lifted by the priests of Shimane, after which Vega and the authorities brought the boy, restored to his proper age, back to his parents. On live television the family dissolved into tears as they hugged the child who had been gone four long years.
