Appearance

Slim and willowy, Koki keeps long hair that hangs over much of her face, leaving her round, large-pupiled eyes peering out. For school she dons the Kami High blazer marked with its crest near the left breast, worn with a collared shirt, a ribbon bow, knee socks, and sandals, and like Rin Sawaki she opts for a long skirt rather than the short one. Pinning her hair up later reveals naturally almond eyes and slight eyebrows.

Personality

Meek and downcast, Koki carries the weight of a faded spotlight. As a girl she basked in praise as a gifted pianist, and once that admiration gave way to loneliness among her peers, she ached to be noticed again, even by methods she knew were wrong.

History

A prodigy at the keyboard in childhood, Koki saw her joy curdle under her mother's rigid drills, and after losing to Aira Shiratori she abandoned the piano and drifted into isolation. Desperate for attention, she posts a nude photo of herself online, only for a stranger to recognize her. Takeshi Murakami then threatens to expose the picture unless she strips Momo Ayase of her power using a small Asura knife, a cut that lets her perceive the pygmies. Her attempts fail, members of History and Culture Research Club take her in, and Murakami's hold finally breaks. Reigniting her passion at the keys, she awakens the Lord of the Flies, summoning a swarm that overwhelms Murakami. Later, at Veon Town, Jack Wisp tears that power from her, leaving her drained.
