History

In the Evil Eye Arc, Seiko hires the crew to exorcise the Evil Eye lodged in Jiji's body. Patarson flashes his usual peace sign while Toshiro tries to introduce them, and after a brief mix-up over whether they belong there, the band launches into a thunderous set that has the room moving. When Jiji begins sympathizing with the Evil Eye and pleads for them to stop, Seiko calls it off and apologizes to the group, who leave on friendly terms and invite the others to call again. Manjiro later considers bringing them back to be rid of the yokai for good, but cancels once Okarun resolves to train and contain the spirit himself.

During the Onbusuman Arc, Seiko enlists the band again for a festival meant to pull the Onbusuman off Rin Sawaki's back before it can crush her. Performing atop a moving float with Toshiro and Hideji while Yoshikichi drums below, Patarson helps raise a protective music barrier against the spirit-possessed Kami High building. When debris knocks Toshiro out and Rin initially proves too unwell to sing, the barrier falters, but once Seiko coaxes Rin into pouring out her feelings as vocalist, Patarson delivers a fierce performance that repels the building and ultimately wipes out the pursuing spirits. After the operation, the Brave Force and the Float Pullers gather with the group at the Kumamori Shrine for a meal in the Danmara Arc, where Seiko praises their work before telling them to clear out once they have eaten their fill.
