The Pygmies are a race of tiny, invisible beings native to Earth. They serve as supporting antagonists through the early Kozuka Knives Arc until their mistress, Koki Yukishiro, joins forces with the History and Culture Research Club.
Standing only about five centimeters tall, Pygmies are far too small for ordinary humans to notice, even those with spiritual awareness. Every one of them looks alike, with a cone-shaped body, stick-like limbs, watery eyes, and a dark mustache. For much of their first appearance they hid behind masks fitted with round eyes, a tiny nose, a toothy open mouth, and three trigram marks set across the cheeks and forehead.
The Pygmies turn their minuscule size into a weapon. Being undetectable to taller people lets them move and watch unseen, and in a fight that invisibility means they can strike openly while their targets struggle to hit back; they remain visible only to others of similar tiny stature. They are also astonishingly quick, able to stitch materials tight in seconds before an opponent can react. Resourceful in combat, they improvise weapons against larger foes, flinging cooking knives from homemade catapults or loosing toothpick arrows from miniature bows that sting more than they wound. They are driven above all by a craving to be acknowledged by humans, and once someone perceives them, they pledge complete loyalty to that person.
Regional folklore holds that the Pygmies were once people, cast off the surface as society's weak until their bodies shrank, the world forgot them, and even their own memories faded, leaving only the longing to be seen. When Koki Yukishiro gained the ability to perceive them through her blackmailer, they devoted themselves to serving her, including her scheme to steal Momo's power. After scouting Momo in the library, they ambush her, Okarun, and Aira inside an Empty Space classroom, stitching the two down and hurling whatever they can find, though Momo's shrunken size lets her detect and warn the others. The plan unravels when Koki ends up in their own firing line, and after she is crushed by a launched table the Pygmies fake surrender, only to spirit her away and tickle Aira to block her power before fleeing to Queen's office.
Once Queen reveals she too can see them and Koki confesses her ordeal, the Pygmies try to comfort the crying girl, stitching out the words "hang in there, Koki," though they admit they cannot return Momo to normal. They later shield Koki's severed floating head from Murakami's Severed Head Dribblers and team up with Mai to guide it back under the basketball net, restoring her, then build her an instant piano so she can wield her Lord of the Flies. In the Six Curses Arc, when the Black Paladins ambush Koki and Rin, the Pygmies again construct a piano and reveal that Koki's power can sync with another's, prompting her to combine it with Rin's gravity control to overturn the fight.

The transformation everyone knows, the follow-up question nobody would touch. Why we made a smooth R&B track about the golden glow Dragon Ball never talks about....

Five Bleach female characters, ranked and settled. Yoruichi sits at number five, the spot nobody expects, and our number one is an Arrancar with a soft heart....
