The one hundred sixty-sixth Dandadan chapter and the opening of the Ultimate Yokai Saga. Shrunken Momo sneaks back to school, where her friends research fairy lore in the library hoping to cure her, Okarun raises his stalled confession, and Momo glimpses a tiny figure spying from atop a bookshelf.
Getting by on a single grain of rice and a sip or two of water, Momo finds a bright side: being too tiny for school means she can finally rest. Seiko will not have her slipping behind in class, though, and tells her to slip in without being noticed. Momo figures skipping would be simpler, yet she attends once she stops Seiko from catching sight of her report card. Together with Bamora she joins Okarun and Aira, the latter tickled by her situation.
In class, Okarun quietly tells Momo to hide herself better and keep her voice down as she takes notes, and he asks Bamora to keep her out of sight. When Momo speaks up to grab a boy's attention, the student assumes it was Bamora addressing him rather than her, which backs up the fairy lore Momo has read, the idea that people have lost the ability to sense fairies unless they truly try. Okarun blurts that he has a plan and earns a scolding, to Momo's delight. He later gathers Momo and the others in the library to dig for anything on fairies that might cure her. Momo says sorry for the trouble, and Okarun assures her that wanting to help only comes naturally. She tells him Turbo Granny has been absent since leaving and that Seiko clearly misses her, a feeling they share. After he confirms his kintama are back, Okarun raises his confession, but a flustered Momo asks to hold off until she is normal again and tells him to stay loyal in the meantime. When he asks why he should when they are not even dating, Momo flares up, sure he means to cheat, until her temper cools at the sight of a small figure perched on the bookshelf.
Despite her minute size, Momo returns to attending classes. She confides to Okarun that a fairy is what she increasingly feels like. History and Culture Research Club members gather in the library to study fairy lore. There Okarun brings up the confession again, only for Momo to ask that it wait until she has regained her height. Before long she catches a tiny creature watching the group.

The transformation everyone knows, the follow-up question nobody would touch. Why we made a smooth R&B track about the golden glow Dragon Ball never talks about....
