Appearance

Taro is split straight down the middle: one side of him bares raw muscle while the other carries a layer of skin, and on that skin half he sports a close-cropped haircut. He is the school science room's anatomy mannequin given a life of its own.

Personality

Love rules him entirely. So smitten with Hana is he that he can snap his disassembled body back together in seconds just to reach her side. When she begged him to turn back rather than become discarded junk like her, he refused outright, declaring he would regret it forever if he did not stay with her then and there.

Abilities

As a walking anatomical model, Taro can pull his body apart at will and reassemble it just as fast, a trick that let him wriggle free of Momo's psychic grip, though he failed to notice she had seized his heart during the split and could now hurt him from inside. He moves with tremendous speed, able to keep pace with Okarun's Turbo Granny-enhanced form and drag Momo along even as she clung to him with psychic hands, and his stamina let him race from Kami High to a junkyard to save Hana without flagging. His hollowing ability proved vital against the Evil Eye, as he wrapped his body around Jiji while Seiko's sealing talismans clung to him, temporarily setting aside his organs and straining to stay attached until the seals wore out, leaving him utterly drained.
