Momo and Okarun keep their appointment at the tunnel and bait Turbo Granny into a game of tag, capturing her with Momo's psychokinesis before the freed earthbound spirit forces a frantic chase across town and toward a rigged exorcism trap.

With Turbo Granny seemingly beaten, Momo and Okarun navigate an awkward new closeness at school until Okarun reveals his testicles are still missing. Seiko's inspection then exposes Turbo Granny hiding inside him, kicking off a tense bargain.

The hunt for Okarun's golden ball leads to Aira, a vain classmate who found it and gained the ability to see spirits. Convinced she is a chosen savior, Aira targets Momo as a demon just as a red-clad yokai, Acrobatic Silky, closes in.

Momo and Okarun finally bring down Acrobatic Silky, only to learn Aira died after being swallowed. The yokai offers her own aura to revive the girl, and a glimpse of her tragic past reframes the battle into a sorrowful farewell.

With Acrobatic Silky at rest, Aira develops a crush on Okarun for saving her, tangling the trio's feelings. A jealous misunderstanding sours Momo's mood right as the Serpo return and trap the three inside a flooded void space.

Trapped in a flooding void, Momo, Okarun, and Aira battle the Serpo and their crab-headed enforcer until the aliens fuse with Nessie into a single monstrous creature, forcing the trio to outwit it underwater before they escape exposed in the school hallway.

With the Serpo crisis behind them, Momo, Okarun, and Aira deal with the fallout at school and the unexpected return of the Dover Demon. The exhausted alien's plight turns enemies into helpers, and the episode closes on a face from Momo's past.

Jiji moves into the Ayase household, and the news that he is Momo's first love rattles Okarun into pulling away. A runaway anatomical model then sends the trio racing across town, ending in a junkyard reunion that mirrors Okarun's own feelings.

Season two opens with the cursed house's secret laid bare: the Kito Family has fed sacrifices to a buried monster for generations. The legend of a giant snake unravels into a Mongolian Death Worm as Momo, Okarun, and Jiji are dragged underground.

The fourteenth Dandadan episode opens the truth behind the cursed estate, as a buried yokai answers the worm's suicide waves and a despairing Jiji becomes the vessel for an ancient grudge.

The season two finale stages the Buddha mecha against the space kaiju, settles the battle with psychic teamwork, and reveals a startling truth hidden inside the monster's body.

In the fifteenth episode, Okarun stays below to battle the possessed Jiji while Momo races to the surface and weaponizes sunlight and water against the death worm, ending in a volcanic eruption.

The sixteenth episode turns the dead worm into a firefighting tool against an erupting volcano, reveals a hidden ally, and brings Seiko's crew swooping in to seal the rampaging Evil Eye.
