Asura is a set of kozuka-style kogai forged out of the essence of the cursed sword that shares its name. Carried by Saint-Germain, the small blades hold stolen yokai power and let him tap that energy in combat.
The Asura kogai are a collection of slender knife implements modeled on the traditional Japanese kogai. Rather than being ordinary tools, each one was shaped from material taken out of the cursed katana also called Asura, so the pieces carry the same supernatural properties as the parent weapon. Saint-Germain keeps several of them tucked inside his coat.
What makes the kogai dangerous is their capacity to store the spiritual energy drained from yokai. Saint-Germain draws on this reserve during battle, channeling the captured power through the Asura set. In appearance they pass for plain ceremonial kogai, which masks the sealed yokai abilities held inside each piece.
Roughly half a decade before the events of the story, the sealed cursed sword was lifted by an unidentified thief and reworked into an assortment of kozuka knives and kogai. The whole batch eventually reached Saint-Germain, who turned them into instruments for hunting yokai and harvesting their abilities. During the clash with the Fairy-Tale Card, after that yokai broke free of the trunk imprisoning him, Saint-Germain produced the kogai from his coat and unleashed the yokai energy banked within them.

The transformation everyone knows, the follow-up question nobody would touch. Why we made a smooth R&B track about the golden glow Dragon Ball never talks about....

Five Bleach female characters, ranked and settled. Yoruichi sits at number five, the spot nobody expects, and our number one is an Arrancar with a soft heart....
