Overview

Ever since the invasion of Sumer, this suit had belonged to a Kur serving within the Advance Unit. It finally came apart at the close of its pilot's clash with Mantisian during the campaign waged against Earth. Some suggest its silhouette borrows from the insectoid moon-dwellers seen in Georges Méliès' picture A Trip to the Moon.

Function

Built to mimic a robotic praying mantis, the exosuit stands among the very tallest of its kind. On offense it extends laser blades, letting the pilot loose a torrent of rapid slashing strikes, and it conceals a venom-tipped needle meant for injecting a foe. A dedicated Underwater Form also raises its speed and power so the wielder can keep battling below the waterline.

Notable Users

The pilot first brought the machine out when a portion of the Advance Unit had cornered Okarun, who was then fighting in his Turbo Granny form. Later, during the bid to invade Earth, that same Kur moved to stop the Family from reaching and sealing the warp gate meant to call down the Kur fleet. Squaring off with Mantisian, he buried the crab alien beneath a barrage of laser-blade slashes, drove the duel into a river, and flipped to the Underwater Form, whose added speed and strength handed him the advantage. As he readied the venomous needle to end things, Mantisian transformed into his Dover Demon body, drawing on the Strong Style Twenty-Four to land an amplified blow. The resulting Jet Punch tore the suit apart in an explosion and killed its operator.
