Overview

An exosuit is a body-worn exoskeleton meant to strengthen or support whatever organism climbs inside. The technology is alien and highly sophisticated, and the Kur race in particular are infamous for fielding them when seizing other planets and coping with unfamiliar atmospheres. Most are grown rather than built, though Saint-Germain stands as the only known figure able to manufacture them like ordinary weapons.

Function

Creatures called Big Mamas produce the suits after gorging on large numbers of living beings, and the caliber of the consumed life shapes the suit's power, with rare or strong qualities yielding formidable results. The victims' final emotions can also imprint on the suit, as happened with Bamora's, which took the form of her people's god. A marble-sized core that glows gold powers each suit. Once worn, they are strong enough to overwhelm Power Users, aid in planetary conquest, and keep aliens alive under hostile gravity, and a Kur in one is hard to match unless the opponent also wears a suit.
