Summary

Momo presses Sanjome on why he wants to advise their History and Culture Research Club, asking who he even is, since she has never spotted him at school. Noting her curiosity, Sanjome says he longs to uncover and solve every mystery in the world alongside like-minded people, and advising the club helps that aim. He then leads Momo, Okarun, Kinta, and Bamora to the school's storehouse, which becomes their clubroom once they clear it out, to Momo's annoyance.

As they haul things out, Okarun remarks that Sanjome feels unlike the other teachers, while Momo voices her dislike and finds it odd that his name sticks but his face does not. Spotting a couple making out, a flustered Momo spins Okarun's head away so he will not see, and the two briefly catch each other's eyes. As Momo wonders why Okarun stays silent if he read the letter, he grows flustered too, having struggled with his feelings since confiding them to Bamora. Momo punches him, stares him down, and tries to make him admit he read it, asking if he saw it and pressing her ear to his chest to check his pulse for lies, which overwhelms him. After she storms off angry, a dejected Okarun, unable to muster the nerve, finds the Class Rep stepping over to ask whether he might be a vampire.
