Their exorcism of the Onbusuman behind them, the household gathers for dinner: Seiko and Rin, Okarun and Momo, Turbo Granny, plus the Hayashi and the Dashi Carriers. To everyone's surprise, Mai's ghost reshapes into a guardian spirit tethered to Rin, unwilling to depart for the afterlife until she watches Rin reach idol stardom. Rin, however, announces a new ambition: writing vampire romance novels. Mai keeps pushing the idol path, citing Rin's vocal talent. Momo proposes that Okarun and Rin head home so she can rest, but Okarun reveals that his second kintama has fallen into another person's hands since Rin turned it in. Doubting the police would hand it over to anyone, he asks Momo to help confirm whether it still sits at the police box by reading its aura, and she agrees to try the next day. Rin then offers Momo an apology for branding her a delinquent, having come to see her as kind, which leaves Momo flustered. As he departs with Rin, Okarun bids Momo farewell without looking away from her.

The following day, Momo accompanies Okarun to the police box, annoyed that he still cannot meet her gaze on the way. She reads the surrounding aura and reports that the kintama is nowhere nearby. The two then resolve to recruit Turbo Granny to pose as lost property so they can inspect the box's records of collected items and learn who claimed the ball. A bribe wins her cooperation.

The whole group shares a meal at the Ayase residence, with Mai now serving as Rin's guardian spirit, unable to cross over until Rin makes it as an idol, even though Rin would rather pen light novels. Okarun tells Momo "see you tomorrow" while holding her gaze before he walks Rin home. The pair later head to the police box to test whether the officer lied about the family jewel being claimed, and finding nothing, they bribe Turbo Granny into posing as lost property so they can reach the database.

Bearing the title Kawabanga, this nineteen-page chapter arrived on November 14, 2023. It belongs to Volume 15 and opens the Danmara Arc within the Kintama Hunt Saga, set between Chapter 128 and Chapter 130.
