Chapter 131 of Dandadan sees Rokuro use his nanoskin to impersonate a police officer, talk his way past a returning cop with a faked phone call, and pull the station records that finally name Unji Zuma as the student holding Okarun's lost kintama.
Having found a part-timer to cover his shift, Rokuro agrees to assist Momo and Okarun as they hurry back to the police box, on the condition that Momo answer for it if he loses his job. She accepts. Using his nanoskin, Rokuro disguises himself as a police officer, slips in to swap Turbo Granny for another cat figurine, and pulls the computer data on Okarun's second kintama. When the box's officer, Vega, returns from patrol, Momo and Okarun try to stall by staging an argument out front, which ends with the two tumbling into each other in embarrassment.
Vega and Rokuro collide at the entrance and come to blows. Rokuro spins a cover story, claiming to be an officer named Tanaka assigned to inspect the lost-property file, insisting his earlier call did not reach Vega during patrol and that he could not resist picking a fight over rank. Although Momo and Okarun doubt the cop will buy it, Vega gets confirmation by phone after calling the station, since Rokuro has quietly hijacked the line with his nanoskin, and even suggests sparring at the station dojo. Afterward, Rokuro reveals that the person holding Okarun's kintama is Unji Zuma, a student at Renjaku High School.
Rokuro agrees to help in exchange for being set up with a better-paying part-time job. He uses his nanoskin to pose as a cop and reach the police box database. As he leaves, Vega returns, so Rokuro punches him and the two fight. Rokuro fools Vega by faking a confirming call from another station through his nanoskin, then tells the duo that the kintama has been collected by Unji Zuma, a student at Renjaku High.
This Volume 16 chapter advances the Danmara Arc within the Kintama Hunt Saga and first names Unji Zuma as the kintama's holder. It runs nineteen pages and was published on December 5, 2023.
