All Alone

With Reptilian beaten, Momo drops onto grass and watches the castle and the town around it dissolve, realizing they were never real but part of the alien's power. Cut off from Bamora, who can no longer sense her without the kaiju suit running, Momo calls out and frets that Bamora may have left without her. Alone on the road, she wonders whether Seiko reached the hospital and what hour it is. The full moon overhead tells her that her time has expired.

Overwhelmed, Momo weeps over her loneliness and her wish to go home, picturing her friends, as the curse shrinks her until she vanishes entirely from view.

Soon after, a group of masked priests walks the streets toward where Momo lies. The lead priest declares he is aware of her presence, crouches to invite her into a pouch, and assures her that matters have already been settled for her two friends.

The group carries her to a shrine, the masked priest set on having Momo complete her role. Inside, he rests the pouch holding Momo on a pool of water, takes up the Uchide-no-Kozuchi, and lightly taps the surface. Momo swells back to her normal size, and the members lift her from the water and dress her while she remains unconscious.

Published September 16, 2025, this Volume 24 chapter belongs to the Shimane Arc within the Ultimate Yokai Saga and sits between Chapter 208 and Chapter 210. It marks the emotional low point of Momo's curse, her complete disappearance, and introduces the Masked Priests who wield the recovered Uchide-no-Kozuchi to undo her shrinking.
