After the Ritual

Once the masked priest removes her curse, Momo wakes inside an inn room and is startled to find Bamora asleep next to her. An inn employee brings her coffee, and when Momo asks where her grandmother is, the news that Seiko lies hospitalized with an injury leaves her shaken. Deciding to rush to the hospital, Momo accepts the employee's offer to arrange a car, mentioning on her way out that a person she didn't recognize had been in the room.

At the hospital Momo catches Seiko quarreling with Jiji, craving arabiki sausage while he insists she stick to the doctor's small portions. Her appearance at full size stuns the pair; Seiko springs up to hug her, baffling Momo, and Jiji's joy turns to dismay when she asks his identity. Seiko wonders whether his face rings any bell, and the answer floors Momo: this stranger is actually Jiji, her friend since childhood, whose presence she cannot explain. The realization that her memories are gone settles over the two in silence.

Elsewhere, Manjiro drills Okarun in reaching his ki through hand poses and chores done to thank the sheltering shrine priest, and as he sweeps, Okarun's mind turns to Momo coming home from Shimane. Back in the room, Momo flatly rejects any notion that aliens are real.

Dated September 23, 2025, the nineteen-page Chapter 210 appears in Volume 24 as part of the Shimane Arc within the Ultimate Yokai Saga, positioned between Chapter 209 and Chapter 211. It confirms that Momo's recollections were wiped, since she neither knows Bamora nor recognizes Jiji and dismisses the existence of aliens, while Okarun continues his cleaning-based ki training under Manjiro.
