Chapter 233: This Old Man Has the Heart of a Water Flea

Momo watches in alarm as a brachiosaurus clamps onto Jiji, briefly hoping the spectacle is staged. The unnatural quiet around her recalls the day the Serpo hunted her and Okarun, and the dread is confirmed when dinosaurs begin multiplying across the amusement park until she is buried inside the stampede.

Elsewhere, a sea lion shapeshifter advances on Okarun and Aira. She slips into her Acrobatic Silky form and tucks Okarun behind her, irritated that her private moment with him got cut short. A masked figure steps in to apologize, naming his squad as Vlad's protectors, the Dragon Knights, sent to claim their abilities. Aira pins the recent ambushes on them, but the leader insists his group has no tie to those other attackers. Told to surrender, she refuses, certain she can handle them by herself. Amused, the leader explains they only want Okarun's Turbo Granny power. Okarun protests that he no longer holds it, yet the leader treats this as a lie and raises a pair of oversized scissors. Before the clash can start, the floor turns impossibly slick and drops both of them, the doing of the sea lion user, who reverts and hurls himself at the pair.

Momo runs for her life as dinosaurs manifest all through the Empty Space arena. The Dragon Knights present themselves as Vlad's guards and order Okarun to hand over the Turbo Granny power they assume is still inside him. The confrontation between Okarun, Aira and the Dragon Knights opens with the slippery-floor ambush.

This is the two hundred thirty-third installment of the Dandadan manga, part of the Six Curses Arc within the Ultimate Yokai Saga. It released on May 12, 2026, and has not yet been collected into a tankobon volume. The chapter introduces the Dragon Knights as antagonists and continues the parallel threads of Momo's escape and the duo's standoff.
